What Valinor Ledger is
Valinor Ledger is a complete double-entry accounting and financial management workspace for small businesses. It covers invoicing and receivables, expenses, vendor bills and payables, banking and reconciliation, inventory, sales tax, and financial reporting, all backed by a real general ledger.
Every transaction you record (an invoice, a bill, a payment, an expense) automatically posts balanced debits and credits to your general ledger, so your reports are always accurate without manual journal entries.
How the workspace is organized
The left sidebar groups features by function: Accounting, Sales & Receivables, Purchases & Payables, Inventory, Expenses & Assets, Planning & Analysis, and Reporting.
- Press Cmd/Ctrl+K anywhere to open global search and jump to any invoice, bill, customer, or vendor.
- Use the help widget (the ? button) on any page to search this knowledge base without leaving your work.
- Your role (owner, admin, accountant, user, or viewer) controls which actions you can take.
